Batesville's interdepartmental Workforce Engagement Team works throughout the year to continuously improve the company by way of engagement, enrichment and education. The team, established in 2001, focuses their efforts in the following areas: associate communication and recognition, community outreach, health and wellness promotions and a variety of social activities held throughout the year.

The group is commonly known as the "Tree Is Me" team, and the logo portrays the proud Batesville heritage with the dual tree emblem which has long been associated with Batesville. Large, healthy, and growing trees have strong roots that provide a solid foundation. In the shadow of the larger tree, a smaller tree represents future growth and stability.
